If you are a daily BuzzBuzzHomeBlog reader, you know that we love technology, advertising, and cool stuff; you probably also know that 90% of new home buyers start their search online before contacting an agent. So, this leads me to the question, “Why are new-construction websites so terrible???” Hmph…. Actually… Why are land-developers so terrible at marketing online?

Of course, there are some exceptions, such as Tridel and Cityzen, who have fully embraced the medium and are seeing phenominal results from it. It is such players who will have a real advantage now and in the immediate future.

Below I have listed some really cool and innovative new online marketing campaigns.. note that these have received up to 17million viewers!

Of course, we can not expect all residential developments to have such wild online campaigns, but something better than a flash website and a Twitter account with 10 followers that hasn’t been updated since July 2009.

Check out the website below, which to-date has received 1.77million views. 1.77million views!! I imagine that the typical condominium website in Canada receives less than 10 visitors per day.

Think that is cool? Check out this inspired Bicycle rider!

The video below is really funny, and a shout-out to the RayBan video of last year…

Below… How’d he do that? Engage the viewers!!
