Looking to move somewhere affordable in the US? If so, then you must check out this list from the National Association of Home Builders!

The Housing Opportunity Index (HOI) showed that 70.1 percent of all new and existing homes sold in the third quarter of 2009 were affordable to families earning the national median income of $64,000, down slightly from a near-record 72.3 percent during the previous quarter and up from 56.1 percent during the third quarter of 2008.

Being from Canada, I have never heard of any of these cities; but, they must be pretty affordable!

1. Kokomo, IN
2. Springfield, OH
3. Bay City, MI
4. Mansfield, OH
5. Elkhart-Goshen, IN
6. Indianapolis-Carmel, IN
7. Canton-Massillon, OH
8. Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, OH-PA
9. Lima, OH
10. Davenport-Moline-Rock Island, IA-IL

Ever see a study like this for Canada? Please let me know!
