Repositioning themselves for next phase of their lives

Today, Boomers and those older, have more choices of where and how to live: They can stay in their home as long as they’re physically able. They can sell and downsize to a smaller house or condo in the same area or elsewhere and use some of the proceeds to enhance their lives. They can sell and rent, using the cash for snowbirding. They can sell and move to one of the scores of retirement communities springing up across the country. They can sell and move to new retirement-friendly areas where realestate prices are low.
