I love reading Christopher Hume’s critique on architecture in Toronto. Over the weekend, Hume posted reviews, with links to his Architecture Critic column, on 5 condos that tower above the rest. These five condos meet his stands for architectural excellence:

1. PURE SPIRIT LOFTS — 70/80 MILL ST. (Grade A)

2. 294 RICHMOND ST. E. (Grade A)

3. THE HUDSON — 438 KING ST. W. (Grade B+)

4. REGENT PARK — 246 SACKVILLE ST. (Grade A)

5. RIVERSIDE LOFTS — 747 QUEEN ST. E. (Grade A)
