About 400 Lennar homes in Florida have problems with tainted Chinese drywall. According to reports, Lennar Homes has set aside $39.8 million to pay for the damages.

The Miami-based home builder reported the figures on Friday July 10, 2009 in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said its insurance will cover $20.7 million of the damages and is seeking reimbursement from subcontractors, insurers and others for costs.
